I like the Hill style deluxe gloves with inserts.  Tried a glove with overlays once, they wore off pretty quickly.  The insert gloves are stiff adn take soem getting used to.  It may help that I don't take a deep hook, I'm a finger tip shooter.

I shoot the Howard Hill gloves exclusively with the nylon inserts in them due to the 80-90# weight I shoot.  I really like them and one usually last for 3-4 yrs. and I shoot 365 days a year.

These are the gloves I have been using. I started out with a Berlin Glove and  then moved on to a Damascus Glove. My latest that I've been using for a couple years is the Skokum Glove. I like all 3. The other day I used my old Berlin Glove after not using it for about 5 years. I really liked the way it felt and I shot good, taking out a squirrle and a ground hog.

I use the Skookum Mega Tuff glove from Alaska Bowhunting Supply.  The Mega Tuff on the fingers protects my fingers better than any other glove I've used, provides a smooth release and lasts forever.  I've shot the same glove for two or three years.  I'll never shoot any other glove.

Back when I was young and full of it, I shot a 82# HH longbow and used the Hill glove with with the insert. After getting a half dozen decades under my belt, and going down in draw weight, I couldn't feel the string with the Hill glove. That's when I went to the Damascus.

I started with a berlin glove which caused numbness in my ring finger. Switched to a big shot...no more dead finger and shoots great.

Another vote for 3 Rivers dura glove.  It may be a bit light for bows over fifty pounds, but I don't shoot heavy bows any more.

Deerskin, Berlin-type, glove from Raptor Archery. It is soft, and does not have extra leather at the finger tips. It is all I have ever used.

I like the American Leathers Slick Shot. Well made, great for heavier weight bow weights, and the nylon stalls give a slick release.

I'm with the dura glove crowd. Holds up well, doesn't groove, and is inexpensive enough to get a few spares just in case.

Love the feel and they are smooth. They last pretty well, though the nylon does wear away after a bit. However, they are pretty cheap in comparison with others.

Hill deluxe glove. Stalls form to your fingers inserts prevent string grooves. They take some breaking in the stalls are VERY STIFF at first but with liberal applications of Lexol leather treatment and patience they come around. Adidas pine tar prevents the stalls from getting loose on the fingers. No need to feel the string good back tension and the feel of hitting anchor are enough.

I like the Grizzly broadhead/Wolverine Leather SuperSlick glove.  Last very long.  My fingers don't sore after using this.  Recently they have been in backorder though.

As one of the older members of this group, I have shot a lot of different gloves (and tabs) over the years. Some years back I settled in on an American Leathers Big Shot glove and never looked back.  It does the job for me!
