Mission accomplished
« on: May 24, 2011, 09:00:00 AM »
I have this mental block about how much bows cost these days.  I'm not saying that the bowyers are charging too much for their excellent work but I can't make myself pay much over $200.00 for a bow of any make.  That being said I started about 2 yrs. ago with a plan to trade current bows around until I finally got the exact bow I wanted.
So through more than a half dozen swaps I finally came up with one of my bows that were on my list as being "the one".  It's a beautiful Bighorn Ram Hunter 70# @ 27".  It truly shoots as good an arrow as any bow I've ever owned and I'm thrilled with it!  I guess we cheap people can get good stuff if we keep at it!

You have proven it is possible to get a great bow that fits you without laying out a fortune.A couple of the best shooting bows I own came from the classifieds.I have owned a couple Bighorns and they are smooth.Glad you found your bow.The only thing lacking is a picture.
