Could these arrows work for my setup

A fellow tradganger has some Traditional only arrows for sale in the classified section. They are cut to 29" and are 500 spine. Could they be made to work with my setup which is: 48lb @ 28" I draw 27.5" my riser is cut to center, I shoot split finger off of the shelf. What weight head would I need to use to make them work out of my setup.

They may work depending on how high-performance your bow is.  If it was a selfbow, I'd that there is a high likelihood that they would work.

If it is a recurve or hybrid, you will likely need a light point weight 125 gr or less to have a chance to get decent flight....

Since your bow is cut to center, you will be able to get away using a stiffer shaft rather than an underspined shaft.

Without knowing any further details I would initially recommend a .400 deflection shaft for your set up over a .500 and you could load on more tip weight, if necessary.  Again start with 125 gr and see where your at....

I think you are talking about my arrows.  It would depend on weight up front and if the Herway Carnivore is cut past center.  If you are shooting 125 to 150 up front they would be ok and with your draw you could shortern them to stiffen them up and maybe even go more up front.  Also if you bow is not cut past center it would most likely be ok and need a weaker arrow than a 48# bow cut past center.  I was trying to create a EFOC arrow and bought 4 batches of arrows, 3 rivers trad only 500, CE 150s, Gold tip 55/75 and Arrow Dynamics Hammerhead Lites.  I was putting 175 to 300 up front and testing.  The CEs and Hammerheads worked best for me with my set ups and weight up front.  I shoot 47# to 52# recurves cut past center and draw 28 1/8.  Please PM with any other questions.

I wouldn't risk it without at least shooting something close in comparison. I was shooting a similar bow setup with 250 grns. up front & I was using .600 shafts. Either way good luck...

I think they would work with 175 grain heads. They are similar to my setup. I shoot 46# @ 26.5 inches (Natural draw. Throat of nock to deepest part of grip.). My arrows are cut to 28" and I use the 175 grain head. In looking at videos of me shooting, I am using most all of that arrow. I think you'd be fine. I can send you different weight heads if you need them.

Those shafts have an equivalent of 63# spine weight. You would end up with about 145gr tip weight at the 29"bop with a center cut bow.
Those who like more FOC will stir you to the 400's. These are equivalent to 78#+ spine weight. You could go up to 225gr tip weight with these cut to 29"bop.
Just depends on how much FOC and how much tip weight you want to shoot.
