I love that pic, and I love the memory of sharing that fire with some of my favoritest folks. There were you and your son, Bernie, Dano, Bill and Will Pearce, and my much-missed hunting buddy ApplePie, who left me in the citified part of Virginia to go raise his family in the green splendor of Tennessee. Who am I leaving out?

What a treat that was. Dano gave me a beautiful selfbow, and one to Bernie, too! That time shines real bright now, thanks for the reminder.
