Not sure whats around Brewster. There are some big deer that have come out of Ohio.

I looked at a Map. Brewster is south of Cleveland and NE of Columbus. I am not familiar with that particular area but the states largest deer come from counties just south of there.

Brewster is a good area. Ohio has a lot of public land. Very large to small parcels. You can still get permission on private land if you knock on enough doors too. You'd be about an hour or so from me so let me know if and when you get here. Lots of hunting in Ohio!!!

I will know more as the summer passes. Hoping to still be here in the fall and maybe hold off moving until the winter or spring. that would be perfect. One last bear season in maine.

Good luck! Can't blame you for wanting a bear. Been a dream of mine for quite some time. I googled Brewster and it's only 55 minute drive. My dad grew up there. If you come to visit and check things out. Let me know.
