The camera angle on the first stalk really makes it look like I'm totally exposed to the deer. In reality, I could only see the tops of his antlers while I was stooped over--until he stood up. Even then, I had to stand up to clear the rocks in front of me for the shot. Good news is, I have one more successful Nevada hunt archived that hasn't been edited yet and I've got another tag for this year. I drew Colorado for mule deer also, plus I just hired Steve Tadin (who did all the filming and editing for GH2) to come work for me building bows, filming and editing. To say I'm excited would be an understatement to say the least. We'll be starting the next movie this coming weekend with another hog hunt on a different ranch in Nor Cal.
The pack I was using on that hunt is the Badlands 4,500.
