Removing snake skins

Can you remove the snake skins off your limbs without hurting the bow? or is it kinda a permanent deal?

Probably want to be sure the snake is dead first!   :)

Yes take it off and clean it up may take a little lite sanding then reseal it that what I did when I drop my bow 40 feet , it was me are the bow

What my plan was Is to remove the praire Rattler skins from it and put some Copperheads back on so I shouldn't have to bad of a  pain to deal with   :confused:
