All Cedar.  It's just right.

This is another buck a shot last November in North Dakota, with a tapered douglas fir shaft and a 145 grain Snuffer at 10 yards.

Been using wood arrows for the last 10 years.  All game shot with Black Diamond heads accept two years ago shot one deer with a stone head.  Going to try bamboo this year with stone heads.

B.Glass, it came up for sale here on Tradgang. I contacted Dean and got some history on the bow, and bought/traded for it. I've seen a couple more here, too, but they're rare. Dean named the bow "Easy", because, he said, the bow just seemed to want to be made, and came together with ease. It was made in the spring of '96, during the time frame when he wrote the book that was serialized in TBM.

One of my proudest possessions. I haven't hunted with it since the picture was made.

Yeah, Mom, I had been wanting one of Dean's bows ever since meeting him at Cloverdale while I was working for Longbows & Recurves magazine. He was still selling finished bows then, and I tried one out. Probably shouldn't have, 'cause then I was hooked. When Miss Easy came up for sale, I couldn't help myself.
