I christen thee, "Reset Button"

Or just "Reset" for short.

Pardon if this sounds breathless.

Fed Ex guy delivered this day before yesterday. I am finally able to put it down long enough to take pictures of it. The riser is not new. I bought it in 96 or 97 from Jay St. Charles at Northwest Archery. It was 67# @ 30" and it was always too heavy for me. So I had it reduced by 7 lbs and that was still a bit too heavy but as I've been working on strength it's probably OK. But I had already gone ahead and had Rob Lee make new limbs, which are 52# @ 30" and it is sweet. . So I went ahead and had new limbs built.  They're 52# @ 30" and 64". The veneer is Shedua.

I just fletched three GT 5575 trads at full length (32-1/2) with a spankin' new Bitz.Four fletch at 90° with 4" shields. Cresting wrap. (Note to self: cut the wrap shorter, the burrs on the Bitz chews it. Also, buff Bitz.)  Did I wait for the glue to dry on the inserts? Of course not! 1-1/2" 2216 footing (cladding). (Note to self: install inserts first). 145 gr. field points.

This bow shoots great. It is quiet, even without fur balls. Smoooooooooooooooth. Very VERY happy I went with 64". Did I take it easy? Of course not! I walked it right out to 20 yards and bullseyed the first one. I'm thinking, robin hood the next two and go get the camera. Not so much... Skimmed off the top of the target on No. 2, knocking off half a feather. It was easy to fix. The glue was still soft. And then grabbed a corner of the block and had to pull the arrow all the way through. Fletching held. Miracle!

OK... a little tuning. Not much. And a lot of shooting. Lotta lotta.

Bob Lee Rocks! HUGE thank yous to Rob and JJ. It seemed forever, but you were really fast. You are definitely in the joy business. (There are no doubt several ungulates who probably don't share in that opinion.)

Thunks!
