Modifying my Big Jim bow quiver

Don’t know how this is going to work out but hear it goes. I’m trying to set the bottom mount about 4” back.

Quiver almost done drilled the piece of aluminum and placed in the leather sleeve but I still need one more Chicago screw to attach the rubber strap .I’ll pick one up in the morning and see if this thing works

Looks good Thump. You won't need such a heavy piece of aluminum though. The strap will flex at the bow and even the lightest piece of aluminum won't bend.
I have an adaptor that I have been working on, but just haven't had enough time to perfect it. Looks like your doing a good job.

Shakes My grandfather called them that. At Lowes they are listed as post screws

Got the quiver done and it does sit the arrows back a little.  Most important is theirs no vibration or noise

Very nice job. The upper hood seems to be into the working part of the limb. Do you notice any difference when you shoot?

Yup I agree bring that hood down to the fadeout and it would also give you more angle.  Still looks good,  I just made one for my Buffalo.

Definitely bring that upper hood down closer the handle. I prefer to keep the quiver on the riser completely, but with your riser being so short you may have stop at the fadeout. The closer to the riser you bring the quiver, the less it will alter the bow's performance. As mentioned, bringing it in some will also increase the "set back" of the feathers.
