I'm with you Brett!! I'd forgotten about sending that arrow to Killy. It's not something I do often, but I thought she might appreciate it.

Thanks for the reminder.

I was a bit late for work this morning, because I HAD to read the story before I left.

I just re-read it, and read through the comments and found what Killdeer wrote.

All of this is something I NEEDED, as the last several weeks have been trying for me.

"Time to make ready the archer" INDEED!  :campfire:

Jonathan... back in the '80's Fred started modifying Zwickey Delta's to accept a bleeder blade. It was something he was doing on a very limited basis.

I didn't care for the heavy bleeder he used at that time so I used the Bear bleeders instead. They worked great.

About the same time Mike Sohm of Magnus started doing the same thing as Fred. Fred figured it would be easier to use Mike's head as make his own, so he did.

Eventually Mike quit using Zwickeys and began making the entire head from scratch. Thus was born the Magnus I and II.

After a while I tried the bigger bleeder blades and found my initial fears were unfounded and I started using them instead of the Bear's and have ever since.
