Congrats Ben!  It is always great to see a father and son in the outdoors together!  My dad was my best friend and hunting/fishing budy.  Like you, I'm bringing my son up doing the same thing.  How old is your son?

Quit encourageing him guys, next he'll want my tree stands!   :scared:

He's been shooting really good. If we can only keep him from shaking when the time comes...... And when we do I'll ask him how he did it cause I still shake!!!!!!

We already have a stand site picked out.

I know I'm old as well, and I don't really mind it - I earned all these scars and lessons the hard way.  Plus - Its just plain difficult to take offense at much of anything anymore, 'cause at my age as I tend to forget about it pretty quickly.

I haven't met young Eagleeye yet either, but I'm looking forward to when I do.  He seems like a solid young man, has a great hobby and nice shooting form, and I hear he cooks a mean rack of ribs!  Those are three good reasons to call him a friend!

Eagleeye, stop now! Bow hunting is addicting and your dad just wants you to tag along to help his too old self drag deer and set up tree stands. Quit now or you will get hooked too. Stick with the girls and fast cars.

Kapellmeister

Way to go, Eagleeye!  Keep up the good shootin'!

(Good job to you, too, Dad!)

Good Shooting EagleEye!  Just use what Shaun said about dragging deer with your Dad and Leatherneck as they get older to get them to give up the good stand.  I'm sure you'll do great this fall if you keep shooting like that!
