I have to say  Bob Lee, I have never shot a Palmer or Foley,so I can comment on them. But I have to say the Bob Lee is awesome smoooth, quick, quiet and very easy on the eyes.

Bob Lee has the best service I have had the pleasure of dealing with.I have talked to alot of bow makers and I have to say that JJ and Rob are right up top. They will answer any questions you have and they have a 90 day buy back policy. If you are not happy with the bow for whatever reason there are no questions asked. How can you beat that.

Palmer bows and Bob lee bows are the same at least for the style, same riser and limb design(for the recurve).
I know only the Palmer,he shoot very well,it's a very good hunting bow.

I haven't shot the others as well so don't really know about them but my bob lee is pretty sweet  :)

Lee taught Palmer how to make bows so they are pretty much the same just the Palmer offers carbon and Lee won't 'cause he told me that it doesn't offer much performance for the loss of smoothness.  Don't know about Foley so can't comment.  Lee bows are great, have two of them and Rob and JJ are great guys and easy to do business with.

My buddy let me shoot his Palmer bow and I liked the way it shot, he said the Bob Lee was the same.
I bought a Bob Lee TD Signature recurve, followed by a TD Hunter, and a one piece Signature Hunter. All are great shooters, resonabbly priced, easy to find extra limbs and the Lees are great people to deal with. Can't go wrong with them.

I've had 2 Palmers and shot a few Bob Lees. They look the same but grip is a little different in the hand. I liked the Palmer better and Predators feel the same in the hand. All three are great bows but I'd shoot one of each a bit before putting out money. I dont think I've ever seen a Foley so I know I've never shot one........Rose Oak and Wes Wallace also feel great in my hand.......YMMV

I agree the Lee bows are almost the same as a Palmer with the exception of the grip.  I liked the Lee grip better,  I Own a Lee and dont forget Foley bows  very smooth and quick and quiet.  I have 2 of them and love them.  Ron Foley is a great guy I called one time for string info he was hunting elk.  Low and behold his wife called him and he called back the next day.  Always has treated me great. My vote is for the Foley

Me, personally, would go with the Foley hands down! I have been fortunate enough to shoot all three and I now own and rely on my Foley. To me it is more comfortable, smoother and out performs the other two.

Now, that being said. You really can go wrong either way. All three are great bows and have outstanding reputations. Shoot em all and then make YOUR choice.

I've shot all three but like the palmer the best. For me it is very fast and shoots great. I don't think you would go wrong with anyone of the three you mentioned but I recommend you shoot all three. Thats what i did at ETAR and ended up picking the palmer.

2elkhunt that is a beautiful and unique Lee!

I've always wanted, but never had opportunity, to shoot a Foley.  I've seen some and they were beautiful bows.  Their owners give them the highest praise. Never heard (or read) a single negative comment.

The Palmer is an outstanding bow but there are folks who have complained of customer service type issues.  I can't speak from experience, and there certainly may be extenuating circumstances, but it is something I consider when purchasing.

I have shot Lee's and can highly recommend them for quality and customer service.  Also, the availability is great and lead time on orders is routinely short.

Got to go with Rosco1. I get lots of comments on how pretty my Foley longbow is and how well it shoots. Nothing like killing two birds with one arrow!

i've only ever owned a lee. but off ALL the other bows i've shot i haven't liked them more than my lee. not sure it's is because i'm so used to it but i just like my lee.

If a bow is a decent fit and you are so familiar with it that the two of you are one, then running a few arrows thru an even better fitting bow may go undiscerned.

There still is no better assessment than  spending some quality time with a particular bow of interest.
