Opinions on my arrow selection

Since I started capping & cresting my Gold Tip Trad 35/55's & re-setting them up for my Sky Hawk Ihad to make some changes, some I kinda expected some I did not.
Original set up:
G.T. Trad 35/55 30.5" full length
1" piece of 2117 footer 12gr.
standard insert w/ 10gr. extra added 21gr.
125gr. G.T. point or Woodsmans Broadheads.
5" parabolic feathers.
G.T. standard nock.
446gr.
Now with cap & crest:
G.T. Trad 35/55 30.5" full length
1.5" piece of 2117 footer 19gr.
standard insert w/ 20gr. extra added 31gr.
125gr. G.T. point or Woodsmans Broadheads.
5" parabolic feathers over Krylon cap & Testors crest.
G.T. standard nock.
469gr.
Expected to add the little extra up front with the .5" extra footer for the counter balance the effect of the paints had but not the extra 10gr. up front to get em bare shaft & broadhead tuned right.
Does this sound right to y'all?
I know the little extra weight will help in penetration but I just didn't expect that much of a difference in how the arrow reacted to the paint in the back.
Maybe it's my release.

I have weighed arrow shafts before crowning with Fletch Lac paints.
I found that 1 coat of FL added about 5 grains of weight. A second coat of FL added another 5 grains or so.
The crest and the nock collectively added less than 1 grain of weight.
So, it looks to me like you are on the right path.
Of course only shooting the finished arrows will tell the tale.
Charles.

I crown and crest all of my arrows, and have done so for over 40 years.
Theoretically, the addition of 10 grains or so to the rear of the shaft is supposed to increase the spine.
I have not noticed any difference in arrow flight or arrow speed.
