Aluminum continued
« on: June 14, 2011, 11:50:00 AM »
Aluminum had a slight ding, were the carbons would chip.
Carbon pros: had good weight,12 gpi, once tuned flew great
Carbon cons: very expensive, durability of both finish and shaft questionable, more time consuming to tune, narrow diameter, difficult to pull out of 3D targets.
Aluminum pros: consistent straightness (when new), XX75 is very durable, ease of tuning, less expensive (about half the price)
Aluminum cons: can bend on a hard impact.
Conclusion: Although the mfx's are nice arrows they are not worth twice the price. I will stick to my aluminum
P.S. bring back autumn orange.
