good news for Amarillo area stick shooters
«

A friend of mine had a talk with the president of the Palo Duro Bowhunters and he agreed to let us traditional shooters set up our own course the first weekend (Sunday) of each month. This weekend (July 1st) will be our trial.
I would like to invite any stickbow shooters in the area to come on out and have some fun with us. Hopefully we can make this thing click so we can continue doing it.
P.M. me for more details. Thanks, Mike

Great, Mike. Will be out to help. Put on some bug repellant guys, the chiggers are running amuck if I left any out there.

It should be fun Ralph. I'm looking forward to seeing you. I just e-mailed Gerald so hopefully he can make it too.
You're right about the chiggers. At the jamboree I brought home my share. I've never even thought about them around here. I guess all the rain brings them out. I thought I had a rash from those pokey little seeds that filled my socks. Once I started scratching em I figured what they were. Then I couldn't stop scratching!
Hey, if you know anyone else that might be interested, let them know. Especially if they don't shoot all that well. I'd kinda like to beat SOMEONE! Mike

Hey Guys does this include the OK Panhandle. It seems both states forget we are out here and we tend to think of ouselves as a sperate area. Not many Trad Guys in this area so something you are talking about is of great interest to me. Give me a Time/Location and I will try to be there.

Hey, I know some 'Oakies', they be ok too. Emailed you to let you know some stuff. No fancy stuff, just a trad bunch that has fun. Know about the seperation of Panhandle and state. It's further for us to attend some shoots than it is to cross most states.

Bradley, If you're willing to make the drive, we'd love to have you. The more we have, the better the opportunity to make it better.
