I don't think it's a so very good idea even though a lot of string makers use 450+ which is very close to it ...452x has the lowest streching coefficient what is not so good for the classic bows especially in case of dry firing (nock failure for instance, it has occured at least 5 times to me during the 10 last years)..its breakage strength is 75# so think also about that when you make your string and count yours strands keeping in mind an eventual dry fire...to the opposite the 452x make some very stable classical strings which fit the most in case of bad releases, but it's one of the most noisy fiber...I use myself some astroflight, once stabilized (stretched before) that's the most sweet fiber that you could find, very silentfull, accurate and quick (-2fps / 8125; +2/D97) and make beautiful round enough 12/18 strings . I think the 452x is mainly a compound fiber even though it needs also to be stabilized before using it on them, if not it will stretch very quickly also...In France (europe), FITA shooters use mainly both 8125 and astroflight now.
