Thanks fellas. If I am being honest, she let me go in the end. If the sow finished that first charge into my stand, it would have been over right there. I was totally unprepared since I was focused on taking pictures. There was a TON of luck involved. It all worked out for the best and it sure is fun thinking back and sharing it. I'll never forget this experience!

Now that IS funny! The bear passed on me.  :biglaugh:

I would have made a decent meal with all my winter fat still in place! The taste would be gamey though. Maybe some tenderizer, onions and garlic would help?   "[dntthnk]"

Charlie you lucky old cuss! Congradulations on your bear, your trip, and coming back not dead after that story I read, I was attacked by a whitetail once  I don't think I could imagine the raw power of a bear. Once again congradulations!

No problem bud congradulations again on a once in a lifetime adventure,can't wait till' this fall hopefully I'll be able to make it to more stuff out their but hard to tell with college.
