I caught this guy on a trail cam a couple days ago.  It seems like he is looking for me... :)

I've seen it up here quite often.  I only hunt from the ground now, and have seen quite a few deer looking up while walking thru. Usually happens after 2-3 weeks of the season with of constantly pressured deer.

The deer can look at me all he wants to as long as he doesn't see me.

They put their noses up to get a better whiff of whats happening, the eyes follow that line when they do.

Some friends and myself hunt a place here in Texas that is SO PREASSURED that if you make the mistake of hand corning an area the deer when reaching it will immediately explode out of there! When they come to an opening they will stand and gaze upwards like they are scanning for tri pods or hanging stands, it is so funny to watch them do this, we are up on an overlook with binoculars and can watch several places.

If they are just starting to do that your very lucky. Been dealing with that for a long time now.
