Depends. Wear a wool skull cap if it's cold. Cover that with a Fratzke bucket hat if it's really cold. In the elk woods in September, usually a cotton boonie.

I got a bucket hat that I swear I'm going to throw away every year cause it's so faded. Every year it's the first hat I grab. If it's real cold I'll switch to a beanie.

I use a fitted boston camo baseball cap when its hot and a primos radar hat when its cold I love that thing for those windy kansas days
