center cut question on new bow

So I've ordered my 2nd custom bow, a thunderchild from Big Jim.  I'm a ways off from coming up on the list but I had a question.  He cuts his bows to center and my current Horne Flint Quest is 1/8 shy of center.  I'm very happy with my set up now, 50@28, AD trad lites 31.5 BOP with 250 up front.  I'm getting the TC 50@28 as well and would really like to shoot the same arrows out of the two bows and feel that I can pick up either bow and go out and shoot where I'm looking.  How much difference does the 1/8 make in this regard?  Should I see if I can have the TC built out to 1/8 or do it myself when I get it, or is the difference going to be minimal?  Thanks for the feedback.

If it were me, I would just add material to the strike/side plate and go with it. That's what I always do with my bows in order to shoot the same arrows from bow to bow. Has always worked well for me.

1/8 difference in center cut can make a big difference. If you want to play with what if's on center cut etc you might want to download  Stu Miller Dynamic Spine Calculator . It is a great tool. You will need to have either Microsoft excel or the Open office spread sheet program to run it.

  That being said I would just fiddle with the side plate,and nock position.

Not only will the 1/8 make a difference, keep in mind that the bow may come at 48 or 52 LBS.  Most bowyers as for a +or - 2 lbs.  Don't worry about it until you get the bow.

I have never shot the AD's but from what i have read on here they are very forgiving and i would not be suprized if they worked for you as is. Let us know what happens when you get your bow.

Thanks for the feedback guys.  I have found the AD's to be very forgiving and I'm hopeful that it won't be a problem.  I guess I'm a stickler for controlling all the variables I can.  I want to know when I let go of the string that variability in my shot is related to form and not the bow or arrow.  I'll be happy to update you guys in about 7 months when it arrives

I've shot the AD's in everything from 50# @ 28" to 60# @ 28" with no issues. They are very forgiving and I would not be surprised if they worked just fine in both bows.
