Ever use this "seat" attachment in a climbing stand?
« on: July 07, 2011, 03:03:00 PM »
It looks like a decent product, but I haven't ever seen one. I plan on utilizing tree stands (climbers) more often this next year and thought this might add extra comfort and support.

What is your favorite climber for bowhunting? My old climber is getting a little old, and its time to update.

That looks a lot like one Summit used/uses.  That to me looks like it is built for all day sits.

It is the summit accessory seat. Does it work as well as it looks? It looks comfortable, light weight, and appears to add security. I would like to get a few climbers this year.

Also, I have CONSIDERED getting a blind as well. I have NEVER hunted deer from a ground blind, but I am reluctant to put my 12 year old daughter (who will be 13 this winter) in a tree stand. Any recommendations on ground blinds? She is more motivated to hunt now than ever before.
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

The size needed alone cuts down many options on the blinds. Especially if both of you are going to be in it.

I have an old Penthouse that is fine for two guys...as long as the other guy can move a bit to get out of the way when shooting time comes.

If she is going to carry this herself take a close look at the weights. the penthouse is pretty heavy and might be too much for her by herself...particularly if it rains and absorbs water.

Congrats on having your girl interested!
