Widow guys
« on: July 08, 2011, 09:21:00 PM »
Had my PCH III for about a week now, and I can't say enough good about it. Called up today to order some accessories and had a nice chat with Vernon. He asked several questions about my choices on my bow, and how I liked it so far, and gave some good insights. I can tell that he talks to many folks on the phone about their orders, very informative, insightful and caring.

After going full circle on the learning curve  like so many others have, I can honestly say that I'm a Widow man. They (to me) stand head and shoulders above the rest.

I know there are several excellent bowyers around, but  these guys are the tops!

If you don't believe me, just get your hands on a BW and check back.

Now I'm thinking about woods on a PTF.
I'm a frugal man with a family, and I know what I like, and I can tell you that my new PCH is money well spent!

I'm getting more dangerous all the time...

Hey Friend,
Thanks for your encouraging comments. I always look forward to what you have to offer.

Yes, ordering my first and most perfect Black Widow was, in many ways, a dream come true for me.

I hunted and fished my whole life, graduated to the wheels, and about 3 years ago went trad.

After the input of all you folks I feel like I have finally found my companion afield. My Black Widow.

A stick and a string, the mountains, and God.

I am coming back to Black Widow after a few years off.  I had a PAX in '08 that I shot very well, but I got rid of it (like a fool).

Now I am waiting on a used MAX that I just sent the $$ off for.  Looking forward to shooting it.

I have many bows in my "arsenal," but I know Widows are first class bows.

Yes Widows are solid shooters and I'll always have at least one or two on the bow rack. I like the MA's and PL's the best.

I know Brett is going to LOVE his "lightly" used MAX, but it's almost too pretty to take in the woods.

I have owned Widows since 1992 and were my go to bow for many years.
I got my PCHV last year and it may be the nicest Widow I have shot to date.
    My opinion only.

Glad you are happy with your choice.

I have bought and sold a lot of bows as a lot of people on here. I bought a 56" 47@28 PCHX and it was the best shooting bow that I have ever owned. until I found a Osage PCHX @50#s and I have stopped buying, but the 47#er is for sale. I don't need two, although it is just as nice with Bubinga wood. They are great bows period.
