I really like them:)
They are fast, smooth and everything else I like when shooting a longbow!
Do a search here on powwow and you will find several happy shooters.
Both Braveheart Achery and the bowyer Jim Jones are top notch guys to deal with.
Buy one you will not regret it:)

Jim builds a fantastic bow and you wont find a better guy to deal with.  Give him a call and see what he has to say.

like 'em. I have a 63 inch and draw it to 31 no problems. I can unfortunately say that they stand up to abuse also.

Great bow and even better man.  I like the Route 66 grip.  There is a nice write-up about Jim and his bows in the Stick Talk Summer 2011 issue.  That is the Michigan Longbow Assoc. mag.

My brothers and I find ourselves talking about other bows in reference to my firefly... "Almost as smooth as the firefly... A little louder than the firefly..."

I've had a couple of Fireflies in the last several years, but have been shooting a couple of different bows for the past year. I just pulled out my Firefly today and launched a few arrows. I was driving tacks with this well-mannered, quiet bow.
It has rekindled an old love.
It will definitely be seeing some action while hunting this fall.

Great bows, indeed. And as others have said, Jim Jones is a great guy to deal with.

He makes a nice, totally custom bow. I saw him this past weekend at a shoot with his new R/D limbs and it is smooth!  They were a little more R/D than previous ones he said. He makes grips of all flavors. I have shot a couple different ones and they all were very nice.

I love mine and shoot it all the time. I bought it off this site and wouldn't take my money back for it. I like it because I can have limbs built for it to lower or higher pulls if need be. It is a great, smooth shooting bow.......Dusty

I only have one Firefly, but I will have more.

Jim is great, and so are his bows.....
