I don't know that I would necessarily pick the word "hero", but I have to say that I greatly admire quite a few guys here on TradGang who are at least 10 years younger than I am. Terry Green, Andy Ivy, Skyler Wilson, Randy Burtis, Jeff Berberick, Gregg Dudley, Gregg Coffey, Curt Cabrera, Joe Coots, Chris Surtees (who can be considered a hero in many respects and will always be in my mind), and many additional young people. There are others who are both younger and older than I am whom I hold in the highest esteem. Ron LaClair is one of the "older" guys here who has been mentioned and is worthy of great admiration, and there are many whose names would have to be on the list of wonderful folks here. It is hard to fail mentioning wonderful men like Doug Campbell, Jeff "Tippit" Springer, Paul Kimbol, David Knipes, Larry Surtees, Rob DiStefino, and many additional men and women (too numerous to mention) who constantly contribute their time, money and assets to help others. Leaving out the names of so many of the great people on TradGang who set examples in their lives for us to try to live up to actually causes me pain. But I could type for hours and not put down the names of all of them. People like Charlie Lamb, Ray Hammond, the Wenzels, the Rowans, the Scukanecs, Walt Francis, Bob Morrison, Claudia Eisenmann, Kathy Collister, Katie Gilbert, and all the other well-recognized and not so well-recognized people on this site, are too numerous to list. I am very thankful that there are so many wonderful folks here on TradGang that make up the traditional archery community. Thanks to all of you for being here.
Warning: The listing of specific names is not complete, and the fact that I did not name someone is in no way indicative of me not holding them in the highest regard. I intentionally left out many people who are friends of mine and easily worthy of the highest praise and recognition. The people I did list were, in part, named because of being widely known to so many people on this site, and they thus serve as good examples of the quality of the membership on this site. My best to all.
