Thanks to Jim Gainey - Summer Sizzler... Banshee TDR!
« on: July 15, 2011, 06:14:00 PM »
I just wanted to share my thoughts on receiving my new Black Creek Banshee TDR from Jim recently.

The specs are 58" 51@28".  Beautiful Pommelle Bubinga limb veneers really set off the nice riser woods.

The grip is sa....weet and this bow is a real performer, shoots my 525 hunting arrows about 4-5 FPS faster than nearly all of my other recurves.      :clapper:

I agree  sa....weet.  That's a fine lookin' bow.  That may just push me off the fence.  How does she feel in your hand ?  Is she nice to hold, and is hand placement easy to repeat ?  I had an Orion that I could never get the same grip on it.  Had to get rid of it.  How's this one feel ?  The grip is the key for me...  :archer2:

Keith,

The grip sits well & appears quite repeatable so far to me.

Excellent Purchase!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

Very nice looking bow. I like the shape of the riser, looks very soft, very pleasing to the eyes and love the wood colors. As I said, a very good looking bow. Good for you. Enjoy and have fun.
