Two Legged Tripod Pics!!
« on: July 15, 2011, 10:27:00 PM »
Went out last night and spotted myself a nice bachelor group of whitetails and was instantly propelled into fall mode. Decided I would go back tonight and see if I couldn't catch a peek at them again. Tonight I brought along my digital camera small Sony job like 10.1 mega pixels. I had heard of guys using their binos and putting the camera up to them and it taking closer photos. To my suprise it works. But it is a little difficult to stand hold binos and take a pic thro them. I am in no way a photographer. Luckily my "Boss Lady" was with me. Being just a few inches shorter than I, she was just the right height to put the binos right on her head. I asked first of course..... So heres what I ended up with. She worked awfully well pink camo boots and all!!

Caught this guy bedded first.

Then the boys stood to stretch there legs.

Then they both turned like they were posing.

Quality isnt the best on these photos but I did have a laugh getting them!  :biglaugh:

Yeah, he is a dandy. I really wish I could have gotten pics the night before. His big brother was out there and he is already a monster. Just hoping they stick around till this fall. I don't know if one of those big boys was my first trad buck!

Great bucks! Now if you can teach her to balance a beer on her head you'll have a real keeper!
