There are plenty of places that are worth their weight in gold to see.............Iowa isnt one of them!!!!!!
STAY AWAY!!
I second NW Montana.....many a west coastman have visited the Glacier Park area and have ended up moveing there. As long as its not dry ( no fires ), plan a late Augest trip.
Im headed there in about 25 days

The BlackHills of South Dakota are always a favorite place for me to visit. My wife and I also always enjoy Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and Glacier National Park in Montana. There's a lot to see in the West.

Thanks for all your imput Guys. Yellowstone is a definite as well as the Grand Canyon and rockies. We will be driving a bit I think but if the wife can get over her fear of flying we ay set up a base and fly from there. I will have a bow on board for sure and I plan to go home with at least 6or maybe I will just pack up a sea container and ship it back to OZ. Fred bear museum sounds great and I want to check out the Alamo. I will avoid Iowa 23feetup if you reckon its not worth the price of admission. I think the Wife and Boys will want to see hollywood but I would rather just fly over it and look out the window. I am planning to hunt a bit whilst over there so I have to plan it around the seasons as well.
