Finger question....
«

I was wondering if you develop a callius on a certain finger, does it indicate a flaw in ur release? Meaning if I only have a callius just on my bottom finger does that indicate torque on string? I shoot split finger.
Im getting good arrow flight but was just wondering.

I have a callus on my middle finger where my glove seam rides. I get a deep hook. The one on your bottom finger could be due to finger pinch.

I'm like Pauljr, get a callous on my middle finger from my glove.Since you're getting good flight, I wouldn't worry about it to much.Sometimes its easy to make something simple into something frustrating;then everything goes to crap.At least it works that way for me

I have one on my middle finger after more than 20 years shooting split finger.

Nope. It does not indicate a flaw. It indicates an archer!

I use a tab, and a metal nock. If I take a few weeks off, it's painful at first. I shoot split fingers but do not use a deep hook. My middle finger and index are fine BUT i am shooting 56" recurve and I draw 28" so string pinch could be culprit! Im getting good flight like I said but wondered why just my ring finger takes the beating.

I have one on my middle finger, nothing on my other two. I shoot split finger, so I suppose that's a good thing.

If it gets too bumpy, take an emery board and smooth it down a bit.

It doesnt bother me at all. I'm just trying to figure why I only had a callius on that finger. Always expected to have one on middle finger. Just switched to tab last year.

Not bragging but i dont use a glove or tab anymore.I dont shoot more then 60 arrows at time and most times I dont feel it.I shoot a 62'' recurve @ 50#.I just got sick of borrowing one when I would forget mine.
