Get them before the poachers do... shoot one now. Takes care of the anticipation.

In Texas, I have to wait till August 15th to purchase my 2011/2012 Super Combo fishing/hunting license. I think it costs $68.

Here in Cali we are already a month into it, but my season is on hold for another month or two. You see i dont hunt deer so for the first two months of deer season i stay out of the deer woods so i dont mess up somebodys deer setup chaseing hogs.

I chase my hogs 9 to 10 months, try to as much as i can, out of the year so i take a break so guys can get there feeeever fix.

I've been sharpening broadheads, fletching arrows and looking at aerial photos of my hunting area, gettin ready to make some serious pre-season scouting trips. Now to wait for two months...

Doc, I got the feeeever...

wvlungbuster said bust some ground hogs or stumps. When I get the feeeeeeeeeeever I go squirrel hunting. Here in Southern Illinois we have greys. Using traditional equipment and stalking greys usually ends up being vegetarian night, but it's fun.
