New Chek-Mate Falcon
« on: July 01, 2007, 01:04:00 PM »
Actually, it arrived the first of June, but I didn't have a camera (I knew I'd be chastised if I posted without photos). Ordered it through  www.recurves.com.  Maple limbs, bubinga and cocobolo riser, 51# @ 26". Two beautiful flemish strings supplied by Chad "doin the twist" Weaver, aka LBR. Holy jumping, it is sweet!!! Thanks to Chad and Marc and anyone else who had a hand in its creation.

Dang, that's a nice 'curve! Prettied up, but not to the point of being garish.

Excellent bows.  Chad is a great person to deal with, and he makes an first rate bowstring.  Congratulations on your new bow.

Really nice bow. I just got a Hunter II and love it. The Falcon is a great looking one-piece and it won't set you back an arm and a leg. How long is the bow?

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Pseman, the bow is 60 inches. I got to choose the wood, but had know idea what the finished product would look like. Man, was I floored when I saw it, a real work of art. Same with the Dynaflight strings; one orange and blue, the other a wicked pretty orange and red. Both with padded loops and (I believe) the serving padded at the finger portion.

Congrats, pretty woods.  I've got my two ChekMates and right now my Falcon Deluxe is my favorite.
