I've tried epoxy, gorilla glue, and hot melt. I believe they can all work. The quickest and easiest way to do it is gorilla glue in my opinion. I use hot melt more often though. I like being able to change which point i'm shooting with ease.

Yup hot melt, i get mine from fishing tackle shops its the same stuff. They use it for fishing rod tips,its a little cheaper to.

Ferr-l-tite.  I reglue my stumping arrow points every couple weeks.  The beating seems to bust the glue joints on occasion.

I use milky whtie dual temp glue sticks from Ace Hardware.  They come in a six-pack.  Before glueing, I prepare the point by spinning the point on a piece of rolled-up sandpaper to score the inside.  Then I wipe out the shavings and oil from the manufacturing process with denatured alcohol on a Q-tip or rolled-up paper towel.  Immediately after heating and glueing point, dip in cold water. I have never had a point come off when shooting.  They can be taken off easily with alittle heat when I want to switch them out.

for heads that need to be removed/replaced, "guru's green goop" is best for me - don't look for it the stores, it's private stock only!    

but any good quality hot melt *made for arrow points* works just fine.  

it you want the point to stay on forever, nothing beats slow set epoxy.

The field pts. I buy from Mike at the Nocking Point are textured inside. Just a little added bonus for hot melt to get a grip on. I like being able to change out field pts. for broadheads and visa versa. I also use a small torch to heat the tip up with. I insert the flame inside of the tip and burn out any residue. Then swab it out with some denatured alcohol. If I made up some wood arrows that I was going to designate strictly for hunting arrows I would epoxy the heads on.
