gonna wrap the grip today,  will post some pics when done,  was debating this and I just like the feel of leather.

thanks all, it really shoots great too,  got the grip cut out and will lace up today... running behind as usual!

trying to decide wether to put a  quiver on it or not.

some pics of the grip,  used the leather that Elmer sent with the bow.  After I first installed it, i wanted it a little darker, applied some Lexol and it darkened up.  Will probably wind up somewhere between the 2 when "dry".

yeah but i will say it sure feels even better now, and that grip gives some good "texture", a good things when my hands get all clammy and shaky    :biglaugh:

the bow shoots my standard "go to" arrow, a CE 150 cut to 29", with 200 gr, up front great.    Was grouping bare shafts straight/true with my fletched arrows at 15 yards.  Good enough for me.

Man, that is an absolute beauty.  I believe i will keep these pics as an example of a combination i would like to build one day.  I cant stop coming back to this post.

Matt, this bow looks almost as good as the bow I bought from you, love my dalton bro. Elmer makes a great bow, quiet, smooth as silk and dead in the hand, almost forgot, love this longbow.
