The PSA has a two inch shorter riser then a PMA.Generally a longer bow is more forgiving then a shorter one.Depends on what you are looking to do,target shooting or hunting. The PCH has alittle shorter riser then a PSA.

JRY309 is right....

Both bows will "hunt" well.  The PMA(MA) type riser is longer and heavier due to its size consequently a bit more stable/forgiving.  The PSA(SA) can be a bit more manuverable for some folks.  The PCH is an even shorter riser. You can put longer working limbs on the shorter risers which some folks feel provides a smoother draw....

I've had them both and have to say the PSA is one of the best shooting recurves I have ever owned.  60" and very smooth.

Everyone has their likes and dislikes.  Like Blueridge, I've had them both and unlike Blueridge, I got rid of the PSA and kept my 3 MAs.  Nothing wrong with the PSA just what fits me best.  To each his  own.

I prefer the larger sight window on the PMA.

The PMA is heavier, and the riser is longer than the PSA, as stated above.
Now, how long are the limbs we are talking about.
IMO, longer limbs are more forgiving and smoother than shorter limbs.
With equal length bows, keep in mind that the PSA will have longer limbs than the PMA.
