Yesterday at work I walked outside after lunch and the cooler temps with the steady breeze made me think "Yep, here comes deer season." So tonight I will be sharpening the Zwickeys and my trusty knife. I just have to put up with the long wait for about another 50 days.

yep, I'm just about useless right now. All I seem to be able to accomplish is watching the clock and the calendar. I'm ready to go, tuned and sharpened.

Yeah, I have no hair on my left forearm, my bow is shooting darts and I am softball accurate at 20 yds, I am ready. Chris

Where I live in Texas, 104-105 degrees everyday and probably will continue until the first cool front in September, combined with night time temperatures dropping to only 78-80 degrees by 7am, hasn't put me in the bowhunting mood.
Also, we've been in a severe drought in Texas since last September of 2010 and the animal population is suffering. Since January of 2011, I've recorded a total of 5" of rain. I'm not looking for a good bowhunting season this Fall.

Yep, right there with you. Been seeing tons of deer and turkeys in my fields, on my trail cameras, some nice bucks too. I have my arrows made, bh's sharpened, new string I made shot in on my bow, and my camo all ready. Sept. 3 is getting close. Been shooting 100 shots a day for months, shot a lot with bh's. Cooler temps would be nice, lows of the night been around 70.
