I have had a couple of Savannas, and they came with fastflight strings. Great bow, you'll love it.

You can shoot any material you want on a savannah. Their tips are built for fast flight strings.

You can shoot any string on a longbow , its recurves you have to worry about.
Longbows the string goes around the back , recurves the string pressure goes into the end of the string groove and strips through the limb if not built for fast flight.
Your Savannah comes with fast flight
