Bulk dowels?
« on: July 02, 2007, 08:19:00 PM »
I'm thinking about ordering so bulk dowels, I was wondering how many good arrows a can expect to get out of 100 rods? I know I have to watch out for runout and knots, is it worth getting them to make every dad stump shooting and squirel arrows? I have read some back post and founfd that 3/8" are the way to go because they can be sanded down to weaken the spine or be left long.

My experience with Ramin was I'd get at least 4 or 5 dozen shafts that would be usable out of the bows I shoot most.
More than worth the money at the cost of shafts these days.
