Another Thanks to Mike @ Mad Dog
« on: August 17, 2011, 11:23:00 AM »
With school starting today and the kids being gone I have the chance to finally work on finishing up Chezneys quiver and arrows to go along with his Pup for his 9th birthday in October.

Here are a few pictures of what I got him for his birthday. The hardest thing is waiting until then. I have heard nothing but "Dad, I need a new bow the one I have is really too easy to draw" He is currently shooting a Pup that is 17@24  with a maple riser and is going up to 25@25 Osage and Bubinga black glass, antler tip overlay and a stabilizer insert.

Along with his pup I have made him 12 5/16 poplars and a quiver out of a coyote pelt that I tanned this spring from a harvest last winter.

Mike, I would like to say thanks for all the bows you have made for me and my son. They are a pleasure to shoot and you could not ask for any better customer service.

Here are a few pictures of what he is getting. And don't worry you know there will be some of him when he gets it along with some full draw pictures.

My birthday is in March. Can you buy me a bow?  :D

Looks great especially that quiver!

Wow!! Monster combo! I'd have to move his b-day up a couple of months.

Our son is 28 but we all remember his first nice bow. His quiver hangs in my garage stil, awaiting my grandsons coming of age

That's a nice looking setup, he'll be one happy archer. I need to get on Mikes list because my 8 year old daughter needs a real bow too.
