Scales?
« on: January 13, 2007, 02:29:00 PM »
I bought one of those cheap Chinese built gram scales on ebay. Of course it doesn't work after just using it 3 times! It is just like the one 3Rivers sells. What type and source for buying a scale have you guys had good luck with?

I bought one from Eagle Scales off Ebay, might be the same kind you have and 3Rivers sells. They kind of look the same anyway.

I haven't had any trouble with mine, it works great.

I have a high end digital scale that I use for reloading and one of the 3 Rivers scales.  For my archery stuff I like the 3R scale better.  It reads out faster, is plenty accurate enough for archery stuff, and I've had no trouble with mine in the last 6 months.  I could buy 8 of them for the cost of my powder scale.

I have the one from 3 rivers. Works great, small enough to fit in my toolbox, and works fast. Had an old lyman beam type archer's scale for years, and though slower to use, it worked well too.
