Doe kills pigeon before my eyes!!!!!!!!

Classic! Only you guys would appreciate this...the pilgrims I work with couldn't be bothered. On the way to work at 5:30 a.m.  Nice little field that I usually see deer grazing in , lo and behold a fat little doe right on the side of the onramp. Pigeon pecking gravel gets too close...WHACK!  Doe stomps it twice and continues feeding. Pigeon flops around a couple of times and goes limp. Killer whitetails in Cumberland RI, watch out!!!!!!!!!

Don't know what to percieve or possibly interpret by both the doe's reaction and then non-reaction.

When i was in college, we went to a bird banding station in western PA. The biologist said during bad winters , they had to be fast to get the birds out of the mist nets to band them because the deer would eat the birds caught in the nets.

This is very interesting. I've never heard of such a thing. The anti's would be traumatized to learn that a wild creature killed another that it didn't eat!
