Picked up a Barta longbow up off the classifieds here for a great price. Can't beleave how fast I got it tuned. its a 70#@28" I draw it 27" I had some 2317 to play with. Cut them to 32 1/2" showed weak with 145gr tip, cut them down ones more to 31 1/2" and nailed it. Went back to 30yrds with bare shaft and it flew perfect, slight knock high. I thanks thats the fasteest I ever got a bow tuned. Now I need to make sure the broadheads fly the same, but the bare shaft and fletch are hitting the same place.
Bow has alittle more hand shock then the BW PLII I owned in the past, but it is a 70# bow too. Thinking of cutting the arows down some more and going to alittle heavyer head to get right at 10GPP.
