Ok so this is going to be my first bunny stomp, and I was thinking... Do you wear a bird vest to carry the bunnies/squirrels in while we are hunting? Probably a dumb question but I'm getting ready to head east and was wondering what you guys use to carry the animals while we hunt.

Well, to be honest Jon, on the last one none of us saw any rabbits...
But bringing a game vest would be a good idea.
Optimistic... but a good idea.    :)

I will be wearing my orange vest.
Oh I cheated tonight and just pulled this out of the oven. I will put it on the grill tomorrow to smoke in some more flavor.

Man now it I can keep from nibbling it.

I am so excited! See yall in the am.

Ok I think we had fun, and no bunnies were harmed in the gathering of this bunny stomp.

We saw 8 or so wabbits in the AM and 4 shots were taken, and about 7 quail were jumped.

Here is a pic of the happy hunters at the end of the AM hunt minus me in the pic.

I got a pic with me in it minus 2

Here is the line to my right in the AM.

then to my left.

Oh the money shot.

There was also a duck decoy that met the same fate.

But the best shot had to go to Paul for his killer shot on a little yellow rubber ducky we jumped from the thick brush from the edge of the field.
Thanks all for coming I really had a blast.

No wonder we didn't kill any rabbits when you guys start drinking 'stones that early!

Thanks everyone. It was a blast.

I think Kelly has them at the house Jon. Vince spotted them when we unloaded in the afternoon.

KellyG and the Non-rabbit shooting gang -

I had a wonderful time and ate more than my share of the food.

Jon - keep in mind that Kelly will claim your quiver and arrows were in my truck and I will claim I left them at his place.  No telling who really has them but don't let Paul slip under the radar.

Maybe late March or early April we can wand up your way and walk around a little.

Heck, the beer cans are always in season...   :)
And they don't move as fast as the rabbits.  ;)

Sounds like you guys has a great time.
Sorry I didn't make it, I am trying to avoid shoulder surgery, and am off the bow for another few weeks.
Congratulations on a great day.

Pepper it was a great time. The only thing I would change is maybe add a big fire to sit around over lunch.

VA I know I seen them in the bed of your truck at one point.  :)

I'm sure we can find a ton of beer cans at cheney. Not sure of rabbits, or duck decoy's. Kelly if we'd had a fire we would have never made it back out for the afternoon.
