Hi,
just wanted to share my new setup.
The bow is a Millenium Mohican that ive cut down 3 inches, now it has 47#@my 30" and is 64" long. Im really pleased with this experiment.
Ive build some Carbons for it for stumping and because i wasnt sure the bamboo would work.
The carbons are Beman MFX 500s 30,75" long with 125 up front, 1" alum footing and 0,5" alum footing on the back end. Pink and white feathers wound with dental floss. They weigh in at 470 grain (10 gpp).
The bamboo arrows were my first attempt at natural shafting. They are 31" long 100 grain tip
black and white shield feathers wound with dental floss. They weigh in at 570 grain (ap. 12gpp) and fly really well. I am not so pleased with the low FOC but overall weight is already very high so i couldnt put more weight up front without getting too heavy.
Thanks for looking,
Axel
My dog decided he was wothier for a picture than the bow and arrows
