Glad you like your new bow. Ted's a top notch guy to do business with, and is a wealth of information. I'm lucky enough to work just across the river from his shop.

I bought one of Ted's Kodiak Magnums the other day too!  50#@28".  It was a 1969 model, the same year I was born, so it had some more appeal to me.  I think the old K Mags / Super Kodiaks look so much nicer than the new ones.  Plus, I can always try to make myself beleive that ole' Fred Bear MAY have handled this bow at some point during its creation which makes it even more special.

The bow shoots well so far.  Begins to stack right at my 29" draw length which kinda of acts as a sort of draw check for me.  If there is finger pinch at full draw, I don't feel it.   Shoots an arrow surprising well for such a short bow.  I am using a 12 strand B50 string with padded loops (16 strand).  Shooting a 30" Easton Axis 400 with 100 grain brass inserts and 200 grain tips for a 585 grain total arrow weight.  Hits hard and it very quiet on the shot.  I use a Bear Weather Rest on all my recurves so this one is no different.  I get great arrow flight from them.    ~Steve
