A boy and his new youth bow
« on: August 28, 2011, 02:48:00 PM »
My 4 year old is left handed so I had to get him his own new bow instead of useing his step brothers outgrown bow. Anyways I settled on a bow from Kohannah Bows. Bob at Kohannah made one up and even wrote my sons name and year on it. So  here's a couple pictures of him shooting it this morning. Yeah we had to take a few shots to get a couple that would stick  :)  but he was haveing fun and proud of his shooting.  But why he's fascinated with trying to shoot it in the butt or the feet i'm not sure.. LOL!!

But as for the bow... I had never seen a kohannah bow before and as always was very leary of buying one with out seeing it and also his prices are much more reasonable, especially his adult bows, than most other bowyers. But I will say this, it was well worth the wait it took and the craftsmanship is dead-on comaparable with my Cari-bow or my Great Northern Bow. This bow, at about $25 more than the popular Black Rhino youth bows, is not even in the same class. So here's Kaden having fun.........

Nothing better than a happy kid!!!!!

I agree with you on Bob's bows...he could easily ask for a lot more. But I'm glad he doesn't!

Get you a photo album and print out pics like that to put in it.When your son gets older he will get a kick out of seeing the pics of when he grew up shooting and hunting with dad. The albums i have like that are some of my prized possesions now.

Now you just need some arrow that are more his size.  Send me a PM of your address and I will send you a 1/2 dozen 1/4" shaft arrows for him, if you like.
