5/16" Shafts
« on: July 04, 2007, 09:42:00 PM »
Looking for a source to get 5/16" shafts spined 45-50, trying to build 30" arrow with 130 STOS that weighs 530 grains or so.

Appreciate any help.

Twig archery.......He has 5/16 ramin wood.  Great shafting;it makes strong, heavy arrows and the price is RIGHT!  Give them a try, I don't think you will be disappointed!

Ramin 5/16 from Git-r-done give me 540 gr with a 100 gr point. Great prices too.

I just got the same shafts you mentioned from Rose city, $27 and they pay the shipping. The shafts were excellent. Biff

Ramin would be my first choice for the specs you gave.  Lam birch is good, but heavier than 530 for a 30" arrow.  My 5/16 LB are 26.5" and 590-600 gr.
