When you glassed from at or near a summit what was your app. travel distance? Country is AWESOME. Ewes gargle instead of Bahh, huh? How close were they? You are alive and unhurt, you were with friends, you have great photo's. Very successful my friend.
Maybe you should have brought a "lucky" lefthand bow.

Brings back some great memories. We have lots of good company with unpunched tags there. The good thing for YOU, as a resident, is you WILL get to do it again.

Now THAT'S a hunt!! It is always nice to put the prey on the ground, but few of us truly hunt for food anymore, so that part is secondary. Being in the beautiful country where those sheep are and challenging yourself are the real rewards of the hunt. Congratulations on a great one, Mark. You have impressed me!!!!

Beautiful country and it certainly can turn on you quickly. Thanks for sharing the wonderful pics and your story. Sheep are definately a tough hunt, and with only five days a lot of luck has to come your way too.

Well I hunted 14 days total and had more action in the last 5 days than the first 9. Sheep were definitely spookier late in the season.

Great pics Mark. Sorry I wasn't there to help out that second trip. Looks like it was a good time, despite the weather.
