I have a Quillian Bamboo Longhunter 68" 73@28 and I draw 30" I'm figuring that should be about 80#. Do you guys think a 2317,31" long with 100gr. insert and 260gr head would fly OK??? Any help and input would be appreciated.

I had an 83#@28 Bamboo Longhunter, drawn to 27" so about 80#.I shot on mine some Carbonwood VMAXX 5000(.300 spine)with 100 gr. insert and 175 gr. points,They shot great for me at my draw length. But a 2317 might be ok,should be heavy enough with that weight upfront.I only shot 300 spine carbons out of mine.I also had some Beman Black Max 300 footed with 100 gr. insert and 175 gr. points that flew good too.

I shot 2219 in my 80# longhunter for a lot of years. Also Ash woods 80#-85# spines packed a punch out of it... Good luck !!

Jeff, those 2219s I sent you should be pretty close with 200gn points. They seemed OK to me?

Before I got into wood, I shot 30" 2219's with 160 g. heads from my 67@28 Bamboo Longhunter, drawn 29".
Most Bamboo Longhunters actually weigh about 3-4# less than marked when braced at around 6.5".
