Benjy:  I just bought a really nice Timber skin from YORNOC , Dave Conroy, could be a twin of yours. Same size skin and markings, hope mine turns out as good as yours, well done.  RW

Benjy, that looks like a skid mark down the middle of the skin. Did the guy you got the skin from have an "accident" when he almost stepped on it?   :D   That will look great next to a hog or a deer carcass!

Kyle, thanks for the concern, The automotive clears we use today are designed to go on plastic parts. The plastic parts can be bent like a pretzell without any problem. I have already "cleared" one of my recurves and it still looks great. I would not attempt this if I did not have experiance with this exact brand and specific clear!

Huntryx, my bow is a 60" SXT. The head of the snake would be at the string nock on the upper limb and the rattles would be at the string nock on the lower limb.

Mike, "Owlbait" Now that is just funny!      Maybe that wasn't the snake I was smelling when I skinned him!!

Mighty purty, Benjy (looks much better to me now that "he" has found a permanent, safe, harmless home on the back of your bow limbs - LOL)

I still remember the first Zipper I ever skinned... I started screamin and running around.. took the school nurse to get it off..... Glad yours turned out so nice.
