Insert ideas...
« on: September 09, 2011, 08:14:00 PM »
I'm not a big fan of inserts in bows but I have a bow that has the sight/quiver inserts and I was trying to come up with some clever ideas on how to cover them, then I suddenly discovered I'm not that  clever    :biglaugh:

In any event, got any ideas on how to dress up inserts or put them to good use (besides the obvious sights/quiver option...)?

Epoxy a smiley   :goldtooth:  face button over it.or even epoxy a pocket compass(small nickel size ones) over it.(or find a screw to fit and epoxy it to the screw)

Hmmm, maybe a couple small scrimshawed sections of antler epoxied to screws that would mount in the inserts and serve as covers? I like your line of thinkin...got the old noodle bubbling now....
